Just wondering from your experinece if you notice people moving out of Florida due to hurricane factors over the last few years, or do you see people moving to FLorida in droves still disregarding the risk of mother natures wrath..
There are definitely some bargains out there compare to the peak prices year and a half ago. I believe next year will see an improvment. Florida is no Michigan, so let the properties exchange hands from investors to people relocating (about 1000 a day), and we'll get to regular 4-5% appreciation rate.

Mother nature isn't the sole reason fewer people are moving down. I would say it is more the housing market, cost of insurance, cost of living in general, and jobs.

Not in my case. If I could have a big house with 10 acres and good neighbors in the middle of Miami, I'd stay here forever. Of course that would involve a small city with low traffic.
In part, but the housing market, insurance, etc. is also a key factor.
The insurance problem is completely due to the hurricanes. The housing collapse in Florida, especially south Florida, has much to do with the high cost of insurance and people afraid to buy, again the result of the hurricanes. South Florida has always been immune to goings on in other parts of the country when it came to real-estate. Taxes don't matter if people thought the property they buy was still going to appreciate but everyone is running scared now. You end up with a series of self-fulfilling prophecies. This series of events is much due to the hurricanes. Had they not happened, regardless what the rest of the country was doing, things would be different here for sure.

Then you better be rich to pay the 50,000 a year property tax on that place! Let's see, 10 acres at 1,000,000.00 an acre....plus home....ahh!
