I have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra. I started to hear this noise not long after buying it. My wife has exceptional hearing and was able to identify the source, the visors. My visors have extensions that go towards the rear view mirror. One of them wasn't pushed back in fully.

My Veloster was making some noise from the A pillar area. It was the panel between the dash and the door. I put some small pads and it is gone.
You have to be patient and track it done. I generally have found dealers useless with these minor issues.
