Hopefully the interior isn't too cheap... Korean leather anyone?
The interior looks nice. I don't really like the look of the front.

I love it, and I think it will be a good seller. It is on my short list of cars that I am considering. I would probably buy one used though, as resale on Hyundai's has not been that great. Let someone else take the hit

I agree too, but I think they really screwed up by not putting the 4.6 375 hp v8 from the sedan in it. It would finally be the first Hyundai "Muscle car" so to speak.

lol putting the supercharged V8 in the Coupe would be fun
Motive did a write-up on Hyundai's V8 in September.
"... he returns with an impressive 4.9-second 0-60 time with the car running a conservative 11 pounds of boost. Tests with earlier prototypes and more road returned a quarter-mile time of 13.58 seconds at 108 mph. Still, the Hyundai guys aren't satisfied. "Needs summer tires," Dan Bedore tells me. "Plus, we can't push the car hard. Breaking it at this point would be a real bummer."
A "conservative" 4.9 0-60 and 13.58 1/4 mile is riduculous in a big luxury sedan like the Genesis. It'll be interesting to see AMG's get smoked by Hyundais.
Chicago Auto Show.
"The 4.6 liter Tau V8 offered in the Hyundai Genesis Sedan normally cranks out 380 HP, but this prototype engine gets a screw-type supercharger with a novel clutched pulley, a water-to-air intercooler, and cylinder deactivation. This results in 460 HP and 435 lb-ft of torque while returning 8% better fuel economy."
Looks like a great car. I wonder if you get the Hyundai Assurance with it?
Does it have a back seat? If not, the insurance will be astronomical.
I do nto think that I cna get away with one of those since I live near Detroit and have to court business here. However I look forward to borrowin one for a few days if I can find someone who has one.
