So I would be extremely excited if this news is true, and it seems that it is, except that I e-mailed Chick-fil-a and they told me they were not coming here ...what's the deal with that? I hope they are mis-informed and I will soon be devouring a delicious chicken sandwich with waffle fries.

The one in Logan does not seem very busy. I asked the manager about it and he said they did an ok lunch but nothing for breakfast or dinner. I was surprised because here in the south they are packed.

CFA sounds great....but do they have any non-breaded chicken? I LOVE breaded chicken but can't eat it unless I make it myself, as I'm gluten-intolerant.
At least I'm not sensitive enough to get sick from gluten cross-contamination though, thank God!

Breaking News: The Chick-fil-A banners are up on the construction site of the old Fazoli's just in front of Bed, Bath & Beyond on Hitt Rd. Looks like a tear-down is in progress! I am pretty certain this will be the first free-standing Chick-fil-A in Idaho, the only other location is on campus at BSU.

CFA should not have too much more to do, they've been gutting the building for months!
If I am correct, after my last conversation with the owners, this should be an additional location for Lucy's. They tried going in where Schlotzsky's Deli was however a national chain pizza place that happens to be located close pitched a fit. So, the last I knew they were still looking for a location more on the east side of town. I might be able to let you know more later in the week.

Hey everyone! Can I use the word yall? Well here is goes. Yall are correct in that CFA is coming to Idaho Falls and my wife, Lauren, has been selected to be the owner/operator. We are looking forward to arriving in September from the Atlanta area. We are looking forward to hiring 50-60 people and are super excited about this opportunity! As of now, the store will open November the 3rd. However, it could get pushed up or back depending on construction. If it does get pushed, just remember it will always open on a Thursday and the first 100 customers will receive free CFA for a year (52 #1 combo coupons). We visited in February and love the city and people. I hope I make it through the next month without a heat stroke! Its in the mid 90's hear with what feels like 400% humidity. Feel free to ask any questions!
