Default I'm Surprised

I'm surprised no one has commented about Starbucks and 17th St. traffic.

Reading more about the company developing the new Starbucks and projects they've done in the past, I look for more than Starbucks to be built once the demolition has occurred. Having personally been at the majority of their past projects, they never have developed ( or re-developed) property for just one business.

Default Best Guess for Freddy ' s Location?

It's possible Freddy ' s may be at the new Starbucks location. However, that would add another similar business on the east side competing with others. Certainly, 17th Street has the traffic counts but so do other locations.

What's your thought (and your reason to support your decision) of where Freddy ' s will build: 17th somewhere, Hitt Road, SRL, Taylor ' s Crossing, One of the South exits to I. F., Westside or in the University Blvd. area near CAES or other?

There are no wrong answers. Let's have fun and start sharing tips that we can, about new projects in 2014

Default Panda Express and Skyline Strip Mall

Since I first posted about the Panda Express here, I'll add they open in two days.

Also, the strip mall originally reported to go where City Floral presently is wasn't accurate.

There is a six unit strip mall under consideration on the South side of Broadway, but not as far west.

For those who have questioned my sources or knowledge of projects, go ahead. I know what and who I know, and the companies for whom they work. A couple of people here have references of a different planned project. They can confirm the project. My time is better spent elsewhere with others who have more knowledge of upcoming projects than I. I can also ask questions about designs, given how some are changing and when those changes will occur in I. F.

This thread didn't use to be like this. Trust, use to exist. No one else posted about the Panda Express. ...I guess I was so wrong about that they can now open in two days.

Yep. I called the Panda Express months ago. Disrespect? OK, if you think so. Doesn't bother me really. It is nice though that Carl's Jr and Panda have opened in the past six months. Nice. Good future possibilities.

Check page 17 of who posted and when. Nope, no disrespect or other about the Panda Express.

It does look nicer to have more of what McNeill Development originally had planned for Taylor's Crossing. Those Row Houses, Condos and other housing were anticipated by many. Too bad they weren't built as planned.

Hopefully, a few more buildings can be built in the next 2-3 years. But, I don't know on that area, except one maybe.
