Hello friends...I have lived here a little over a year and need help finding a doctor that works well with people with thyroid issues. I am currently seeing someone who is of no help. If you have any suggestions...please help. I am very frustrated!! Thank you. Ps i love IF!!!

Crystala, sorry no one has replied to your request. It concerns my wife and I, too, because we are considering retiring to SE Idaho and she has had her thyroid removed. We need a good endroconologist. Be sure to post here if you find anyone, and best of luck to you.

My doctor is Dr. David Liljenquist at Rocky Mountain Diabetes and Osteoporosis Center. He is an endocrinologist and treats me with my thyroid and fertility issues. He is very good at giving you information and problem solving.

If you would like to send me a PM and give me some info about where you live, etc. I can recommend some doctors for you. First and foremost, you've got to have someone who will listen to you.
My thyroid disease was discovered by an Infectious Diseases doctor when I had mono. One never knows who has that extra knowledge if they don't ask. Not every patient shows differences in the standard TSH lab.
