at the polling stations today! Never have I wait an hour from the time I walked in to the time I cast my vote and walked out. That was impressive to see to be honest..

I know the turnout must have been better than 80%.
I always go vote around 10:30 every time. I think the line at my polling place was actually longer in 2008, but I may be wrong, as the volunteer assistance was impressive this time. One worked the line continually, helping those who needed to register or had questions by pulling them out of the line, which kept it moving along at a steady pace. Those who were pulled out were put back in in the place they were before, which also kept things moving.

More than anything, I was impressed with the speed of the voters in the booths. I think we all had our minds mostly made up before we ever reached the booth, and we wasted no time in punching in our votes. That's a good sign of an informed electorate to me!

'm always happy with I.F. voter turnout. It's a good sign of our civic responsibility. Today was especially a happy one for me.

I would have preferred to go mid morning and vote, however clocked in at work at 0800 and out at 1800

I think the school props drove a lot of traffic. Heavy ads on both sides.
