Smile Moving to Idaho

Hello everyone.....

I am presently living in Springfield, Missouri, but will be relocating to South East Idaho within the next 4 months. I am looking for the best school district in this area. Also a good place for shopping, jobs, low crime, etc. I know I am asking for the impossible, but some suggestions on a great place to live. I have an 11-year-old and a 4-year old. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks!!

Default Idaho Schools

There are a number things to consider with schools for your kids, but I am confident you will love what you find out about the schools here in Idaho. Generally the student teacher ratios are favorable, national testing scores are well above average, and since the schools are generally smaller, the teachers stay proactive instead of just ushering through this years "crop" of kids.

You should also consider if you kids require any special needs. For example, I am blessed with a child in the "gifted" program; however, if he was a different type of "special needs" child, I would choose different schools in the same community.

Thanks for thinking of the kids and not just yourselves. The world needs more parents like you!

Hello Jim PAulsen
We also have been blessed with a son in the Accelerated LP of math and can you tell me if your child feels that they are receiving the education that keeps him/her interested at the upper level - My son can get bored if the teacher is not challenging enough
thanks for the input
GOd bless the children - they make our lives shine....
