I saw this article last week...glad we got that snowblower for our skidsteer!:

Coming winter could justify snowblower buy - Spokesman.com - Sept. 21, 2010
The Inland Northwest is likely to see a cold and snowy winter this year under a weather pattern similar to 2007-’08, when La Niña brought near-record snowfall...

Okay, so...I have heard everything from "furry squirrels" to "lazy bees" explaining why we will have a heavy winter this year and I am still wondering where all this knowledge comes from? Personally I think Mom Nature just waits to see what everyone expects and then does the exact opposite, just to shake things up a bit. But to be safe, I bought two snow shovels...heh heh heh.

Hmmm...that might account for the moose I saw while I was out walking last week. He was wearing a muffler.

I don't know Idaho, be we could predict a severe winter when the squirrels piled up pinecones at the bottom of our trees.

There will be NO snow tires, snow chains, studs, tracks or lift kits on my car. It will be acting like a bear during the winter. We have the driving in snow vehicle covered though:
