This was this morning, the view looking west to the Big Holes. I took it through my bedroom window, so it's a little fuzzy. We had sun most of the day, but now the clouds have rolled back in.

Shoe_....Over in Seattle, does Issaquah or nearby get any countable days of snow that actually sticks for a day or so? Being that it is a little farther east and in the foothills

I know its completely off topic but just curious!!!

By the way, got some flurries last night driving home to Boise from Mountain home, nothing to stick but the nearby mountains all had snow reaching about halfway down.

tdna that looks amazing! I cannot wait to snowboard!

Well...I guess it depends. For instance, two years ago we had a spell of snow that pretty much shut the region down. Issaquah gets more snow than Seattle, but the further into the mountains and central Wa you get, the more snow. It really depends on the year. Some years yup, others not so much.

Thanks for the pics, Elousv and tdna--it's a relief just looking at them! After a week of wonderful, cool rain we're back to hot days down here. I used to like it...

I remember that. I moved to Boise two years ago, but fly back to visit my parents in Federal Way every Christmas. That snow hit the day before my flight was scheduled. I managed to get there, but it REALLY sucked.

Armpit, King County, eh? Tell me, do you live in Kent or Renton?
