It's a great place for a younger Family to start. My ex grewup there and we did well.
As far as Hospitals! I had 2 of my Children at Syringa. In an Emergency? No your right.
But if there is Fog your screwed, you wont get a flight.
My Ex was Stacey Calhoun. If you lived there around Febuary 1997, you would know who he is. He father is John Calhoun, he works @ Ray Holes saddle Company.
Grangeville as a whole! I loved it. But i disagree with a couple of your comments.

I guess it's just from where one is coming from. I lived in real N Ca and in the county I was in the law enforcement is either corrupt, connected with drugs and act like the gastapo. I have found all one would want here in a small enough community where everyone knows almost everyone or connected somehow and the hospital has done some changes for emergancies but for major stuff you can't beat Boise or Spokand. All in all it is for my husband and I the best place to live. Little snow, no harsh weather, lots of wildlife in our back yard and neighbors who are warm and inviting.

Hi everyone... We are wanting to move back to Idaho in a few months and We now have 2 daughters 1 is 15 and the other is 13. Our 13 year old has some medical issues that I do not want to go into on here. But Me and my husband are wanting what we miss most in life. The small town feel without the bs. We have moved ourselves out into the country AWAY from the crime and drugs here and We want our kids to finish being raised with that small town like we were But I am not moving back home..its just too big there now. We do have dogs, and more than likely will have to rent our place unless we have enough to buy a modest home. We also have 2 parrots. We will not move without ALL of our babies. My one dog is large and she is 13 years old now, we have a 5 year old and a 2 year old. So we need a dog friendly place. Do you have any suggestions? We would like at least a 3 bedroom place. Any suggestions? Thanks To you all in advance for ANY help. Take Care

Default Grangeville

How about 5 acres next to national forest, 13 miles from G'ville (which has hospital and great doctors) and maybe a lease with option of purchase? see my url: Storage Images pictures from home & garden photos on webshots
Or check out "Olsens Haven Gulch" album too. Email with any questions. I just want to move closer to the grankids in Helena,MT
We are one mile from the So Fork of the Clearwater River, great fishing, and I can usually put in my garden in March here where on top of the prarie Grangeville has wind, longer snow periods and more and we are just in a great location...what can I say?

Isis Dawn We have been in the area of JanaB and it is a lovely area over all. Hope it can work out for you. We still love Grangeville. But ended up in Midvale which is nice too. Grangeville would be much better for your needs than here.

Chris

Well we have recieved some grim news...Due to that it is going to take longer than expected to move to Idaho. It is a medical issue with my younger daughter. But hopefully we can still move this summer. I think we are going to end up moving late summer. But just wanted to let you know Janab we have not forgotten about you, also we looked at the property you have but I tried to Earth google it but no luck. It did not recognize the address or town.. But anyways, take care for now and hopefully we can get their Early Summer instead of late summer.

Don't despair. Hubby relisted the property. Always open to an offer. I sent you an email from "google" of the area. Keeps coming up as "G'ville" ??? used to come up as Stites. Oh well. On a map find highway 13 SE at bottom of Haprster Grade where 14 intersects. We are up from there 1.3 miles.
Best wishes for your young one. I did some reading on the health issue. take care
Jan

Yes, people around here are the greatest. A handshake is still the deal seal here. I have a hard time thinking of leaving this area but my daughter and grand kids beckon from Helena. There are no words to really describe the area, just come and check it out. Unfortunetly the economy is slow as everywhere and it's hard for young families, but great for retirement. I have my seedlings just waiting for the 1st of April to into the garden!!
