Looking at THIS and not seeing any ID cities in the top 100 has me concerned
........ Not I think it's a good thing to not have any cities in your state in the top 100. Might help keep people from moving there. I know everyone is concerned about growth issues. Some of the cities they listed here in Southern Ca. I had to laugh at. They listed Claremont and Grand Terrace, which are not to far from me High home prices, smog, traffic. They showed high temp in Claremont in July at 71 degrees. I think not. It is way over 90 most everyday in July. Claremont is nestled right up against the foothills where all of the smog like to settle ![]() Grand Terrace...geez right in the heart of crime central practically. Close to Downtown Riverside, and Colton. The area is a traffic nighmare. I really gotta wonder where they get there stats. I guess my views are slightly tainted since I live here, and want out ![]() Anyway, just thought I would share this. ![]() |

I saw this too. CNN Money decided to do it on smaller towns this year as opposed to larger cities. I was kinda wondering myself on some of the one's on the list....doesn't seem like a "lot of snow" ruins the criteria for great places to live.

Wow....just wow.....Grand Terrace is a hole. Go a mile in any direction and get carjacked or shot....goes to show you why stats mean nothing. Claremont, while still OK, isn't around great areas and traffic is horrible and it's hot and nasty and dry....how they think it's 25 degrees cooler than cities 3-4 miles away is freakin' beyond me...
The longer Idaho can stay off those lists, the better, is what I say. People who "know" will move here, everyone else can go live in those "winning" cities. ![]()

Actually, if you watch carefully on CNN's various lists, you will see that in almost all cases, Idaho and its cities have N/A instead of any data. So either someone here isn't reporting, or CNN doesn't collect from us. Therefore, with no data available, no Idaho cities are likely to make the list.

Don't shake the tree, my grandfather used to say. If the folks at CNN are blind, let's be quiet.
