Default Middleton info please

My husband and I are considering moving to Middleton. It seems to have good schools (we have 3 kids) and affordability in a rural area. We are looking for a 1 acre house with no CC& R's. There are so many subdivisions around but they all have the CC&R's and frankly we want to be able to live without all the restrictions. The interstate is close so commuting to Boise seems to be better then the commute up Eage Road if we lived in that direction. Land has gone up so much everywhere that Middleton seems to be one of the few places left to get it for a reasonable price. Anyway any info anyone can give me would be appreciated. Thank You.
