Default What's the best cellphone provider?

Just wondering what provider has the best cell coverage in the Clark Fork area. I have had alltel for the last 9 years, had great service out of them when I was up there in may. But, we will be moving a lot sooner than we had orginally intended, and trying to get our ducks in a row before we get there..Thanks for the response's...

Verizon works fine in a few areas around CF, and not at all in others. You'll simply have to drive around with your cell phone and find the spots! In town you get 3 or 4 bars, but just a mile down River Road it becomes erratic. Still, we've been able to send and receive e-mails and text messages with one bar even if we can't make calls. If Alltel worked for you when you were up there, then you may want to stick with them.

Best of luck with the move! Tell us about the progress over on the Porch. Let me repeat Chris's/Shades of Idaho's great suggestion for moving: Pack a box with stuff you'll need immediately when you arrive and mark it clearly so you don't have to look through endless boxes to find toiletries etc!

Thanks, for the info, as far as moving, we're not bringing much with us, the house we bought came fully furnished. Just enough to fit into a 7x14 pull behind trailer. But, we do have to find a place to live for a short period of time.

Hands down straightalk. either 45/mo for unlim text, call, internet and roam, verizon networks, flawless reception, or 30 per month for 1000 mins, 1000 texts, and more than enough internet for email and browsing news.
