36 degrees, yikes! How long did it take to warm up, and what did it finally warm up to?

,,,,.......here in the Bitterroot (Valley)(in MT) it went fron 36 @ 6:40 am to 83 @ 4:30 pm. ...(warmed up to about 60 by 9 am) Pretty typical for this area in this approx 40 day window from approx 7/1 to 8/ 10 . however most over-night lows are in the 40 to 45 range from 6/1 to 9/1.

.......elevation by the way is approx 3650'..........

It is interesting to note that in the 32 plus years I've been here on this property on the west side of the valley about a 1/2 mile east of the mouth of a canyon, I have recorded a true "low" of MINUS 42 on my back deck in the month of January..........and a true high of 107 during the month of August.

This forum makes me so discontent. I'm stuck in Wichita, KS where it was 96 degrees at 10:00 AM and we finished up at 112 degrees.

I hadn't been out of my house until late Friday morning, about 11:00, and as soon as I stepped outside it felt so much like fall! I hate to think it, because really it isn't summer here until 4th of July, but we've got that chill in the air already. Imentioned it to the clerk at the post office and she said she'd felt the same way that morning, and my husband agreed. I hope it's just a cooling trend. I really love summer and after last year's never-ending winter I think we deserve some nice weather, but dang it's cold!

Texas is horrible too. We've had to many days of over 100 already. 36 degrees warming up to 72...I can only dream.
