Aberdeen/American Falls Area
I am applying for a job in Aberdeen, but I'm not sure I'd like to live there. No, the fact that it's a very small town doesn't bother me, I like that - it's that from what I've seen of the topography, Aberdeen seems flat and drab compared to, say, Pocatello.
If anyone can enlighten me about this general area, it would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about Aberdeen, but American Falls is, while smallish, a nice area with interesting geography and of course the water recreation. It's less than half an hour to the growing retail of Pocatello.

I don't live in American Falls, but I have family there and find myself there at least every other month but lately twice a month, It is a nice town with very cheap house, my grandparents house has 3000 sq ft large plot of land with a great view of the sunset and surrounding farm land, all to be had for a little over 100 k if even that, in regards to Aberdeen it sucks, it is a dirty little town that is not well kept, and the houses are dumps. American Falls is your best bet

American Falls sounds like a decent bet- Pocatello is too far for my commuting tastes.
Justin, can you expand on what you mean by 'large plot of land'? that's something very important to me.
thanks guys for your responses.
