Spud Days, which use to be about 1/2 of a day and now is 3 days long, is contuining today and tomorrow in Shelley. Shelley is about 5 miles south of Idaho Falls.
And it seems 3 dinner theaters in Idaho Falls are all open (one will be closing for the winter season very soon), to give you different things to do.
For those who are traveling through eastern ID, staying in hotels in Idaho Falls or are recent or have lived in the area for years, there are often activities, interest groups and other events occurring locally about which some may not know the details.
Some of the entertainment and activities are new. Spud Day - now Spud Days in Shelley is in its 79th year. Read all the activities now compared to the 15 minute parade and the free Spud for lunch years ago. You might be surprised how much is going on with Spud Days
For information about these activities and others, please see the thread,
http://www.city-data.com/forum/idaho...ings-do-8.html. Many groups, activities and other entertainment may be listed that you didn't know existed.
For example: Synergy in Idaho Falls and Space Rocket Club for Kids. Look around the thread on various pages for activities just for certain weather and those that continue year long. You may find new information in that thread, when you have a chance to scan it.

Besides the usual movies, motorcarts, bowling, high school sports etc., there is a lot to do in Idaho Falls, if you know where to get the information about the "other" events.
If you attend events, please list any information about them and your experiences plus advice.
Do we have any kennel shows for canines, or anything similar during the year, besides the Eastern Idaho State Fair?
And, please share any activities or other community activities others may want to know about - I know that Weird Al Yankovick and Gordon Lightfoot sold out within hours after their tickets went on sell. Some residents, unfortunately, didn't know.
Please help those in our area know more about what is occurring by your posts on the Top 10 for Idaho Falls. I like forward to reading them.
