Default hunting and fishing in Idaho

Can some one tell me where is the best place in Idaho to live with easy access to hunting big game and sport fishing, with a city near enough to relocate to with a good job market? My family is wanting to relocate to Idaho from Ohio and Im and avid outdoors man. we have a special needs child so we'll need to stay close to a childrens hospital. Im a self employed truck driver, but have middle management experiance. We will be renting to begin with and would like to not live IN TOWN, if possible. Can some one give some advise please?

There's plenty of fishing and game hunting in SE Idaho and right next door in Wyoming. I live near Idaho Falls which is only about three to three and a half hours from Primary's Children's in Salt Lake City.

Post Limited Locations

Idaho only has one children's hospital and that is the St. Luke's Children's Hospital, part of the St. Luke's Hospital in Boise.

Many parents in Idaho have special needs children and receive services either locally by traveling subspecialists or those who live fairly close in other states.

However, since you stated you needed to be by a Children's Hospital, in pacific northwest your choices are: 1. University of Washington Children's Hospital in Seattle, 2. The Children's Hospital affiliated with the U. of Oregon in Portland, 3. St. Luke's in Boise - which does not have every sub-specialty, but depending on your child's need may have what s/he needs, 4. Primary Children's Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and 5. I almost forgot Mary Bridge Hospital in Tacoma, WA.

I'd recommend doing a general web search of children's hospitals and the specialists your child needs. Then you may want to research areas around the appropriate hospitals.

Good luck.
