Default Grangeville Idaho

Anyone know anything about Grangeville Idaho? how big is it? What is the Weather like? Does it get snow? How long is the growing season there(just simple veggie garden) How much rain does it get? and do the clouds just hang around or do they drop their water and then leave?
How friendly of a town is it?

Thanks, Looking for the eastside of the mts to dry out!!!!!!
Lisa

Lisa you might want to check out Boise. Fly fishing is big there and it's always sunny. You really can snow ski in the morning and golf in the afternoon almost all winter. Hope this helps.

Default Thanks

Thanks Trueblue, I appreciate the info. Just might have to take up Golf, the Hubby likes fly fishing. and I am sure the only thing i would ever catch is a mess of tree limbs, So we won't be doing any of that. So that must mean that temps aren't that bad in the winter? How about the summers. Are you up on the prarie or down below. Janab said she was down below.
Just lookin for lots of different opinions, we will be making a trek that way soon. Nice to get input before heading out.
Thanks again, Lisa

Red face Ooops !!!!!!!

Are you in Boise? I read that again, and realized you might not be in Grangeville. We want the small town. don't like big cities. So Boise is just way too big for our likings. But thanks anyways, Lisa

I think you would love, love, love Grangeville. I lived there for a few years, and it is great. Small town, friendly people, fishing, golf, swimming. All close.
I still have Family and Friends over there, and just love going to visit.
