pocatello (Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, American Falls: rental, houses, job market)

1. Thinking of moving to the area and looking for rental houses out side of town.
(e.g old farm or ranches).

2.what is the job market like have been a mason for 20 years,but looking for anything want to try somthing diff.

Farms and ranches are going to run real high in Poky. We were looking to move there last yr and a single wide on 5 acres was running $950 which is way to high for a single wide.

My ex and his father are masons and there is a little bit of work if you are doing it on your own. I don't know the lrg co any more but I think that most of the building is going on in Idaho Falls now. You could move to American Falls and drive to Poky it is about 20-25 miles and much cheaper there. Or you could go the Blackfoot way but there are more gang and drug problems there. Firth, Shelley and the Rez all are having probs with drugs real bad.

I miss Idaho Falls but I don't miss 17th street at all. There is tons of building going on there if you want to get into a different part of construction. Homes going up every where and tons of new malls and new roads.

Look online for the Post Register for the IF and some of Poky area adds.
