Idaha Taxes
Hey
I'll be relocating to Boise from the UK later in the year. Could anyone give me an idea about what I'll have left in my pocket after the taxman each month. I expect my salary to be around the 70000 dollar mark. Here in the UK, you lose typically 30% of your earnings to the taxman Any help greatly appreciated Cheers

Hello! I don't think we pay as much to the taxman as you do in Britain, but we also do not get quite as much for the money. Typically in the US we pay about 20-25% In income tax, but we do not get free medical, etc. like you enjoy in the UK. Where are you from? My husband and step son hail from Uxbridge (near London). We plan to move to the greater Boise area over the summer. We currently live in N. CA. Where will you be relocating to? Please e-mail me if you want to.
