about three inches at a time, it leaves after a couple days. There are only about two weeks in early January when it snows substancially(sp?)

Pocatello is in Eastern Idaho so there is more snow than the southwest part of Idaho..sometimes you have road closures around that area..lots of ice, it gets cold in Eastern Idaho, just as it does in Northern Idaho.
Southwest Idaho does get cold and does snow, but usually is a lot lighter than the rest of Idaho.
