Question Considering moving to Idaho

Could anyone tell me where a good place would be to raise a family in Idaho?
I was considering Idaho Falls, but then I heard about a lot of Mormons being there. I don't have anything against it, but I don't want to be bothered all the time. Also considered Caldwell/Nampa area. I just need to find a place that is both affordable housing and a great place to raise a family. Schools etc. I thought Caldwell area because it is close to Boise. Is that where most of your jobs are? I would also like to live in an area where it snows!!! I've lived in the south all of my life and we can't get a flake! I know it sounds stupid, but my kids are really excited about snow! If anyone can help, please reply back. I will be graduating with an Associates degree in Medical Office Administration. Will I have a hard time getting a job?

You might have a hard time just because the market is tight and you're not from here, but you have education (and experience) in a hot area. So no, you should be fine.

Make sure you check out Caldwell before - some people like it, some people hate it. And you won't get much snow in the Boise area.

The LDS influence is quite prevalent here, however I'm rarely bothered. In fact during the five years I've lived in my neighborhood they've only knocked twice that I'm aware of and well I simply go about my own thing. My time is precious and therefore I don't have to express my views and there's no swaying my belief.

It is becoming a buyer's market here once again, many a home, the newer ones at that are dropping in price.

Well, usually we get snow and more than western Idaho does. Watching the news this morning they have sadly stated we're due for yet another dry and warmer winter

Have you looked north? Lewiston, yes I live here, or Moscow Pullman area. I know I saw and add in the paper for people in your line of education. The nice thing about the area here is it does snow but not stick. IT STICKS AND STAYS IN MOSCOW!!!!!

I live in Coeur d'Alene , northern Idaho, the most beautiful place, great schools and your line of work should be no problem, look it up in the internet, we have two lakes in a five mile area, we have alot of people moving here at present but what the heck, one more nice family isn't going to hurt us. and snow!!!

I think Twin Falls is a great place to live. They are building a new hospital right now.
My family is not Morman, however half our freinds are and it is never a problem.
TWin Falls also dosen't get as much snow as the areas around us. But we have ski resorts close by. I think you should move to Twin Falls (of course I do, I am a realtor LOL)
