I don't think it is the Palouse. Not enough rolling hills, too many trees. Could be around McCroskey Park or east of Potlatch.

you should check out some of his other videos... he has like 80 of them. In most of them he'll mention where the vid was taken in the description. It's so relaxing to watch. Now I want to find a place where I can go up in a ride in one of these things.... and my wife doesn't want me to get a motorcycle ah ah ah

This guy has had a number of gorgeous videos on his webpage, flying over the Sandpoint area:
https://www.facebook.com/SandpointIdaho. I couldn't find them, scrolling down, but they're probably from back in 2012 or further back. He has good, updated info on Sandpoint events, too.
