Exclamation Winter is well on the way

Or at least the winter temps are. I know some have been curious about the winter temps and it's only mid-October and when I got up at 5:00am it was 21 degrees, factor in the 7mph wind it's a windchill of 12 degrees.

Just to contrast -- highs are supposed to be in the low 80's here in Athens, GA. The temp this morning (around 7am ET) was in the 60's.

Valley springs ca...41 degrees at 5 am, wind 4, and a clear day.

I checked on Boise it was 31 degrees at 6 am, wind 2, cloudy day.

Here in Valley Springs...there was a really cold wind yesterday. Definately sweater weather. Leaves blowing everywhere. I love it. I'm a fall person.

Default weather in Aliso Viejo, ca

I am in Aliso Viejo Ca.. close to laguna beach..we were at 51 for the low and going to be 82.....maybe that is why it cost so much to live here....

I was wondering if 31 degrees this time of year is normal.... seems kind of chilly so soon.....Also do you know what is a good community to live? I was hoping to find a place that didn't snow that much...under 15 inches... We have been looking at Eagle.... how much does it snow there??? nobody answered my post so I thought I would ask here sorry.. thanks

Tammy

Snow in Eagle will be the same as Boise: appx 6-7 inches total per year (on average). That's usually spread across a few "big" storms where you get 1 or 2 inches at a time. Most of the time, you just get a trace and it melts off by the next afternoon.
