My husband said that at the Idaho DMV, they specifically told him NOT to smile for his picture. I guess it's because people aren't smiling when they get pulled over!

In my d/l photo, they counted to 3 and on 2.8, I sucked in my cheeks and opened my eyes real wide so that I would look like a crazed madman....it worked!

I recall getting my DL with my height listed as being a foot shorter than I actually was a long, long time ago. Decided not to have it corrected at least until I moved or had to renew it. Well, the Sheriff approached me one late afternoon and, after checking my DL, asked me to stand up. I did and towered over him. He wasn't amused and told me to get it corrected ASAP. Never got around to it until I renewed my DL. Never saw that Sheriff again.

Yeah, my weight isn't correct on mine either. It was one of those things where the d/l had to match the military ID and that had to match the flightline badge that allowed me to work on planes. Correcting one would throw them all out of whack and cause some young security person to put me on the ground and put handcuffs on me. I'm glad those days are over, but I never did change my weight...hahahaha. Speaking of which, I still have my motorcycle endorsement on my license as a leg amputee. I hope I don't have to do a driving test when I move. I also hope they don't force me to have an "automatic transmission only" restriction added.

Wasn't required to take a driving test for car nor motorcycle when we relocated to ID in 2002. Basically, if you already have a valid DL plus a motorcycle endorsement then you just have to take the written tests for both.

I dropped my motorcycle endorsement for 8 years due to marriage, mortgage and family in another state. Went to the same DMV to get that motorcycle endorsement back. They checked my record and added it to my DL for a fee. No driving test required, but had to take the written test.
