what's BAD about Moscow?
Hello
So...I can read all day about Moscow and how wonderful it is.
But let's be really real here, what's wrong with it? What needs to be fixed? How are the jobs? How are the people?
Any info is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks

I don't like the wind in Moscow (much more constant that the Sandpoint area)...or that to get to the airport (Spokane) you have to go a LONG way on a fairly tight highway that goes through areas where delays can be unannounced and frustrating at times. But there's not a lot I don't like about the town.

Too cold, but some people like to be knee deep in snow, I guess.

And that's why he's Justin from BOISE. Lightweights all of you... <jk>
We're having our December hot week right now...was high of 23 and low of 9 3-4 days ago, now it's 37 and raining on the 16" of powder we got Sunday night, and should hit 43 tomorrow....I hate when the weather gets warm for a week...just enough to make everything wet and slushy...

I live In the Lewis Clark Valley about 35 miles south of Moscow. Moscow is always 10* cooler..which can be nice in the summer, but bad in the winter. Moscow gets snow..Also, being a college town, there is a huge influx of population in the school months.

lol, yeah Sage of Sagle, Justin must be from Boise
Right now, in IN it's like 5 degrees out and winter hasn't even kicked up yet.
After looking at moscow I would love love love to live there. Unfortunately, the college prices for out-of-state residents and even in-state are WAY out of my price range and house prices are just rediculous! Bummer eh?

On this note, looking at the map it looks like train tracks run through the center of town. How often to trains come through? How loud are they? Do they run all night, or just during the day?

Tell me more about thie Moscow Wind ??
We are planning on moving to Moscow and I haven't read anything on bad winds there.
I was told that Twin Falls area has the bad winds that go on for months on end.
That is one reason why we are focusing on Moscow.
