Hoodoo mountain that is, near Blanchard
Heading up the hill:

Looking toward Stoneridge resort:

Found snow:

Coming down the Pend Oreille River side:

Found a place to eat and drink called the Road House. This building was the Panhandle Milling Company and was also a feed store. That Wildcat is fresh off the showroom floor.

And The Feed Mill (restaurant name).

Nice scenery, blue skies, and looks like not much snow. Did the clouds move in later in the day? Pretty big caravan. Is that your ATV club?

Thanks for posting the great photos.

Yes, started out sunny and some weather moved in. It was a club ride and we had about 16 rigs total.

Beautiful pictures. Are most of the club rides okay for beginners? Wife and I just got our first atv and enjoy easy trail rides. We've thought about joining a club to learn some neat places to ride with others. I don't like going out too far with only one vehicle, just in case of a flat or ??.

We try to put a classification on each ride. You can find those classifications here: North Idaho ATV Association Events
Yesterday it was set to 'sport' because of the snow. If there was no snow it would be 'family'. What you don't see in the pics are the multiple stuck ATVs as soon as we hit soft snow. I would say that most rides are pretty easy and the club welcomes beginners. I was one last year.

It was no big deal here in Idaho. I put a 12V car horn I had laying around and a two dollar push button from Radio Shack on and bought a rearview mirror, done. Some people go all out and buy turn signals etc, but it is not necessary. Some people go ghetto and have a squeeze bulb honk horn for a bicycle.
