My husband and I are considering movingto Idaho. My husband is into laser land leveling and agriculture. We would like to find an area with this kind of stuff. Can anyone give me any suggestions of areas, towns, and all that good stuff?? Thanks

Not quite certain what laser land leveling is, however I can tell you that in the southeast portion of the state is where there's a ton of agriculture from wheat to surag snap peas to potatoes.

meg_erin, There is always some one around here getting lazer land leveling done. We are in Cambridge,Id . We also see a lot of it going on over in the Ontario ,Oregon area. Cambridge is close to the Idaho / Oregon border. Not sure how often it needs to be done to the fields. I suppose it has to do with the irrigation systems available. And what the farmers are willing to pay for better crops. I heard hay prices are way up so it might be worth the cost to fix the low bogs to keep from killing off the hay with sitting water. There is a lot more row cropping done in Ontario,Oregon than here.

No real answers for you. Not sure how hard it is to move your equipment around to do the job.

Chris
