Just for those moving to the area that may be wondering, yes indeed here in southeast Idaho we've got a white Christmas.
We got about seven inches here in Bonneville County yesterday and the temps sure have dropped today. I'd say it's been a good 15 years since we've seen a decent snowfall like this, might have caught some who've recently relocated offguard. I can recall in 2002 we didn't get anything worth writing home about until New Year's Eve. MERRY CHRISTMAS! |

I'll try and grab some tomorrow when I go back to work...... especially the first stage of the clean up process. The run the blade and you have snow islands in the middle of the streets

Spent x-mas in Eastern Idaho, American Falls and Pocatater, specifically, I hate cold weather, but snow for christmas was nice for a change.

Okay took one picture tonight to give you an idea. The first one is my dog Tony out in it and the second one is so you can see his size without the snow

I took these pictures of part of our driveway yesterday.
Looking towards Hit Mountain. House is on right out of picture. ![]() Looking towards Indian and West Mountains. Snow is about a foot deep. Hubby did not scrape it all the way down to dirt this time. Haze is fog along the river. It was early morning. The sun was out after the river fog lifted. ![]() Loving the snow!!! Chris |

LOL Somebody SLAP me!! Did I say I was loving the snow. OK I think we have had enough now. We had 8 inches over night and then this morning the wind blew drifting in our driveway. Had to bring in the big guns to get it out this time. News said more tomorrow . Hoping they are wrong!!!

Progressing into a nightmare.??? Chris |
