In the north panhandle, we only got 3-5" last night, but over the next 2 days we should get 12-18" more...so we're plowing often to keep ahead of it...

Just think folks, winter only started about a week ago
Down here in Bonneville County it's simply a mess. We got 9 inches on Monday and basically been getting some daily evey since. Today we've maybe gotten 2-3 inches and the storm warning for us is from Saturday night to Sunday night.
I'm staying tucked away at my house until i go back towork Monday afternoon.

Well funny thing Dee that storm missed us entirely lol, the mountains surrounding our valley community usually prevent any significant snow in Salmon, we received 4 inches Christmas Eve day which is unusual for us. The pluses of living here are too numerous to list, we have awesome weather, the beautiful Salmon river at our doorstep, an hrs drive from multiple lakes with great fishing and camping, a very close knit community, wonderful ppl, the only downside of living here is shopping, we have an Alco and Kings for our household items and sometimes they don't have what you need and you either order it online and pay high shipping or you drive to IF or Missoula, but we all are use to that it goes with living in a beautiful place. We have a believe in Salmon that we are blessed enough to be able to live in a place like this because there are not a lot of employment opportunities here, so if you are fortunate to locate a job it's a beautiful thing. I honestly would not live anywhere else but here. Hope this answered your questions and come visit us anytime.

Thank You
 Hi,
Thank you for your response and yes, you did answer my question about the weather. As for employment, my husband & I are disabled, so we don't work. So that allows us a better choice of places to chose from.
Again, thanks for your response.
