Do you know if they wrote it themselves?
Mark Lindsay co-wrote the song along with Terry Melcher.

Thank you.

Didn't know much about Terry Melcher, so just googled him and see that he worked with The Byrds, among lots of others. And now that I know that, I can definitely hear some of the same influence in "Him or Me" that is familiar in The Byrds stuff, like "Mr. Tambourine Man".

What a great era that was. I mean....nothing since has come close. America peaked in the 60s - from almost any angle viewed. Little did I know back then how fortunate I was to come of age in the middle of it and live it for myself.

While I never met Paul Revere, I saw him a few times cruising around Boise.

I always have thought it's cool the way Idahoans are so casual regarding the celebrities and the famous who live among us. I'm sure that for them, life here is much more pleasant without people pestering them every time they go out in public. I've never seen paparazzi anywhere here, but if there comes a time when they begin to arrive, I'm sure they will soon leave unhappy- I don't think Idahoans are ever going to be willing to put up with their nonsense.
