Hi my husband is in the airforce and we are going to be moving to Mountain Home, ID. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is like there and the typical weather. Like snowfall rate. Thank you

It typically is a bit warmer and a bit colder there than anywhere else in the immediate area because it's in the middle of a flat high desert plain.
Windy as heck. Really, really windy there. The immediate area is boring, flat desert, but you are only 35 minutes from Boise, and close to the Bennett Hills to the north. Close to Andersen Reservoir, close to the Bruneau Sand Dunes and CJ Strike Reservoir. The town itself is alright, sorta quaint. Growing fast, though. |
