Barefootdancer,
I have to agree with Twinprism. I'd check with the high schools where kids in Clark/Lenhi Counties attend school. Also, any former/present educators may know of potential babysitters, although the rural nature may make logistics a real challenge.
Hopefully, if you have any church or other civic connections, you can get names that way.
You may also want to check with Steele Memorial Hospital in Salmon. The hospital may be hosting basic babysitting classes or have other contacts in the Stanley area.
Also, I'd encourage you to look at babysitters of all ages. Adults who want extra $, or enjoy kids may be part of your answer.

I don't know how many families with kids who need babysitters are moving to Stanley. You may provide a wonderful opportunity for an adult, let alone younger babysitters.
It only takes 1-2 good babysitters to make life more enjoyable for all.
When you find that information, without posting specific names here, would you please share how you went about it? Others could PM you for the names of who you decide to utilize. Learning the process of networking may be helpful for many, regardless of their specific location.
Good luck!
