My husband and I were raised in the Sandpoint area and moved back almost three years ago. We have been renting since we got married and are now working on buying our first home. We are currently waiting on our final pre-approval number (hopefully it'll be in today) and now we are in search of a realtor to help us navigate where to go from here. A few weeks ago a gal in Home Depot gave us the name of a gentleman that she claimed to be the best, however we cannot remember his name. We would like someone who will truly be in our corner since we can't afford any hidden expenses and need all information up front. We would really appreciate any recommendations for who to go through.

Thank you in advance for any and all help.
-Cal

Why do you need a realtor?

I have been buying and selling my own real estate for 30 years and may have saved over $100,000 in that time. Never had a problem.

Once you understand the escrow process and see if Idaho has a disclosure agreement, you can follow up with the escrow officer yourself for what they need next.

There are very few middle people these days. Travel agents, car salespeople and stock brokers are "out".

Zillow.com will show all the listings in your area, whether for sale by owner or agent.

Recommend you stay at least a mile from train traffic.

Of course. Sorry I figured that people would send me PM/DMs. Sorry that I haven't checked back in, for some reason I figured I'd be notified when people responded/sent PMs.
