Hi all,

We are getting married in Coeur d'Alene this weekend, but will be taking some of the wedding pictures a few days ahead of the actual day. The challenge is that neither the bride nor myself live in the area, so we are trying to figure out where to take the pictures and desperately need good recommendations. We would like to do it in a natural setting, and need the option of shade to keep the pictures from being too contrasty if there isn't cloud cover.

Thanks!

Possibly the base of Tubbs Hill, in McEuen park. However, I wouldn't be surprised if a permit is required. Fernan Lake is close-by and nice too.

Manito park on the south hill in Spokane is lovely. Also, Green Bluff in north Spokane is nice. My daughter was married at an orchard there and a lot of people have the wedding and engagement pictures done at various farms there. My daughters was at High Country Orchard.
