[quote=windsurfingiskewl;2768910]After watching dantes peak and image searching, I have to say Wallace is very beautiful.

Aahh the movie lol. Well hate to tell ya but not all of that movie is of Wallace. A lot of "features" were added and the lake that is in the movie is actually in Sagle Idaho, but it is still a neat little tourist town. The mine tours are a lot of fun!

Talking Wallace & Shady Ladies

I am told, by a reliable source, that back in the 1970's Wallace was a hub of prostition, mainly during hunting season when the Wallace Hotel was a bustling den of iniquity. Seems amusing to me, considering what a picturesque and quiet place it is now.

70's? Try all the way into the 80's my friend! You can tour the brothel. I have a coffee cup from there. They left everything as it was when the FBI busted it... cigarettes are still in the madam's ash tray.

From what they say on the brothel tour, that WAS the tourist industry back then!

I stayed at the "Molly be damn" motel there once ! The bed was so worn out I got a real sore back from sleeping in it. Not only that there weren't even any "sportin gals" !

Default Wallace or Mullan?

If Wallace is just to small, how about Mullan....it looks almost as pretty?
