Small larch/tamarack near my back porch starting to turn yellow and another photo of a flock of about 26 turkeys crossing the road. Couldn't fit them all in the picture. My builder said turkeys chased him into the house the other day when he made the mistake of feeding them peanuts. They came after him to get the whole bag.

Great pictures and ... um ... when exactly is turkey hunting and what's the limit? Of course, if they are anything like the ones in the mid-west, they become geniuses and disappear the day before season starts.

Beautiful, haunting images, Volo! Just think of the lives spent there, all the hard work, the hopes and the dreams--but also all the good times. Who knows, maybe there were more good times than hardship...Maybe the dreams came true, overall...

Have been enjoying peeking through this thread on occasion. Fine talent capturing keepers, everyone.

Especially nice.... especially your 3rd photo, in my opinion. The structure is so weathered & worn but still straight. Rather like me. . : )

.
Here's a few from yours truly:

The right bank would be Lewiston, Idaho & the left bank Asotin, Washington. Quite the scenic area.

.

Along the Lochsa ("LOCK-sah", for the uninitiated) River
between Lowell & Lolo Pass along US 12.

Along the Lochsa River once again, between Lowell & Lolo Pass along US 12. Difficult to get enough of her.
This photo looks so much better upside down (as displayed here), in my estimation. Lovely, lovely area.
