Those pictures are of my house. Located about 25 minutes outside of boise about halfway between idaho city and boise.

Just thought I'd share some of the views we've seen lately!
For info, on the photo of the distant mountains...locals have predicted that when you can see those two fields at the summit when the sky is cloudy, snow is on its way! (Usually they are sort of hidden in the variations of green/brown/black of the mountains...) It wasn't really cloudy the day I took this photo but the fields were definately visible...the next day we had frost in the morning...

T'was my birthday today and my DH and kiddos got me a new camera! Yippee!  Now I won't have to drag a roll of duct tape around with me everywhere to keep the batteries stuck in place...lol

Just found out about this web page for our little town and thought it would be nice to share.

Hope to be adding a link to City Hall and up and coming doings soon.
I work at the City Hall and the little cafe shown. Last night I was walking home from the cafe at 10:45 along the highway. Not concerned about walking alone at night except for being run down by the local deer herd. They were gathered at the end of our street and I had to clap and send them away so I could get home. Now that is fine living.
