Default I need all the help one can get!! (Pocatello Info Request)

I'll be moving pretty soon -together with my wife-from....Romania, Eastern Europe, to ..Pocatello. My wife got a job there. Now, this is the first time when we come to U.S.A. Her salary would be around 45,000$/year. Can we make it through with this money, at least at the beginning until I'll land a job myself? May be, somebody would be kind enough to give us an overview about rent, cost of living and whatever is considered necessary to ....survive in Pocatello. I would really appreciate as much input as one can get.
Thank you, Tudor.

Hello, I have lived in Pocatello for about 6 years now. I can tell you on 45,000.00 you will be doing ok. Pocatello is a friendly enough town, very influenced by the mormon church, and I myself being not LDS can say that sometimes that is difficult. Rent for a 2 bedroom usually is about 450-500.00 a month. The winters are cold here, but if you like to ski or snowboard you will enjoy it. Summers are nice, we have a farmers market and lots of parks and mountains. It is a nice area with a larger town, Idaho Falls about 50 miles away. I hope this helped.
