Chill out. If only it were that easy...I guess us Californians need to realize that most other states aren't as laid back about change as we are...I mean look at us, immigration, high gas prices, high rent, high EVERYTHING...and yet we still say "chill out"...I would think with that kind of thinking we'd be accepted everywhere

Wouldn't it be nice to be accepted everywhere? To me that should be the goal of the world, erase the lines.

SHUT UP!!!! Your license the same day? Here in Cali I had to wait 10-15 days for a new license! Holy Crap! SOLD. SOLD. SOLD...I'll be out there in 56 days

I waited in line about 20 minutes to get my license when I moved here...and that was because one of the people behind the counter (there were only 2 total) was on a break for lunch.

When I went to re-title my cars and get my plates, took about 10 minutes (it's done in the assessor's office). Could have been quicker, but we were chatting about kids and sports and such.

Oh, and it cost me about HALF of what it cost to title/register cars in CA. And for my boat it was $13 or $15, and for my boat trailer I got a 10 year registration and you can transfer that from trailer to trailer....you just swap your plates.
