House in Rigby
My wife & I are coming up to Rigby (Live in Arizona now,Mesa) we are going to be looking @ a house just south of town. I think the address is 214 N 3900 E. it sits a bit close to the hiway, but it has so much of what we are looking for. I love the detached shop, and would kill to find out how it is set up. I would Love to hear from anyone in Rigby to find out about your town, and anything I can about this house. I think it is in foreclosure now, but know little else about the home. Rigby Residents...Talk to me...

My husband and I have lived in Rigby about 4 years now and really like it. I don't know anything about that house, however I don't think it is in foreclosure. I could be wrong, but my husband and I go to almost all of the auctions and keep an updated list of homes going to foreclosure and I couldn't find that one scheduled. But again-I could totally be wrong, I just couldn't find that one anywhere. However, if they are in foreclosure that can be a good or bad thing, just depending on how much equity they have in the house. When are you coming up to Rigby, and what's bringing you here? I think you'll love it!

We just moved from Stapley and Mckellips area in Mesa and live fairly close to that address. Is it a newer home ? I will drive by it tomorrow and check it out. Did you want pictures or something?
Don't narrow yourself to one part of town. Do not get me wrong. We love it here. But I wish we would have looked at more houses. We really love our house though. If that makes any sense.

I grew up close to Rigby, Ucon actually. Most of my family is in Rigby though...Birth Place of the Television it is. I assume you have visited so you know it's just a little ole farm community. It's a nice place with lots of open space, plus your close to Idaho Falls and Rexburg. There is a large LDS population and two Temples close by. We used to go swimming in Rigby Lake (aka gravel pit full of water). According to google maps it does look like you are close to the Highway, so road noise could be an issue. But a quick drive and you can relax in Yellowstone Park, so that is a major plus. Enjoy Idaho!

The home is listed with an agent in my office. Looking at the notes on the home, I would assume that it is a HUD repo. I haven't shown it yet myself, but, from the listing information, it does look like a nice home and a good deal.
As far as Rigby, it's a nice little town, coveniently located between two largers towns. The people are friendly and it's very laid-back.

We Are Moving
My husband and I are moving to Idaho with our 2 girls from Mesa. We need to be close to Byu Idaho so we were thinking Rigby. We want a house though. Possibly a rental for the first year or so. Not sure. Any suggestions? Or do you have any leads for us to find a nice home up there?
