Is there an internet cafe in CdA?
I'll be visiting CdA next month and would like to know if there is anywhere I could go to have an internet access in town? Perhaps there are free connections at the public library? Maybe an internet cafe? I think my hotel will have wifi but without a computer on me it's not going to help me much! (I would like to occasionally check my emails, look up real estate listings, log into here, maybe upload some photos, etc.)
Thanks,
heatherriviere

I don't know if they have an internet cafe or not but the libraries have computers. What I'd check into is if you can get a motel that has a business center. I have stayed at a number of motels that have these. It is a small room with 2 or 3 computers all set up and ready, very nice!

Heather,
If you need to, I have no problem with you stopping by my business in Sagle (40 miles north). I have a computer in the shop (my network has quasi-broadband with satellite internet) you could use if you needed to spend more time online. But if you're just checking email, here is something I pulled up:
Coeur d'Alene Idaho hotels, Comfort Inn hotel near North Idaho College, Coeur d'Alene ID 83814
Note they say "public computer with internet access"...etc....
I'm sure there are more like this...

Thank you for asking that question!
I'm coming out that way in May and I usually take my lap top with me everywhere!
In some area's and motels you can get free internet access codes when you stay in their motels and such!
What about in Idaho Falls?

We actually have many local coffee shops that have wifi...free. I think even Mc Donald's does too.

Oooof! I'll be "connected" at the hotel, for free. Thanks for all the info everyone and for the offer, Sage, I won't need to take you up on it. We will definately pop by to visit you though!

Try Calypso's on Lakeside near 3rd or Java on Sherman. They both have free Wi-Fi. So does City Perc on 4th 1/2 block off of Sherman. Calypso's is best if you want room to spread out. Java is best for people watching and City Perc is best if you want a sandwich while you work.
