so i watch closley the temperatures and the web cam in pocatello ,trying to get a feel for winter ,,, looks like you had some snow and rain last week or so but now it looks all melted off and sunny ,,,,, so is this typical ,,, from when to when would you say ,,, the snow is permenant and the roads are icy clouds are dark and it is a winter hell (ha ha just joking ya) at some point does the snow stick for good and start to pile up ? all those empty potato fields get deep with snow in the dead of winter ,,,, 2-3 ft deep? more ? heading up the first week of january!

Here in IF we had snow a litle over a week ago, the roads were slick for a few days and since most has melted off.... unless your yard faces the north
![]() We're due to get snow the next few days and how long it stays totally depends on the future temps. When we moved here 15 years ago, we used to get a good snow pack, even down here in the valley, global warming has changed the weather patterns though. |
