Hello! My husband and I are looking to move to the northwest when I graduate from the RN program in May and we are really attracted to Northern Idaho. I was wondering if any one could give me an estimate on what starting nursing wages were in Idaho especially around the Coeur d'Alene area. For instance would it be better to drive to Spokane? How about in other areas of N. Idaho. We currently live in IN and the starting wage for our local hospital is 19.73. Thank you so much!!

I have many family members here that work in the healthcare field. I can't give you a starting wage but as far as I know the pay is better in Spokane.
There is a fairly new hospital in Post Falls that pays better than the others around here, North Idaho Specialty hospital. Check the newspaper Coeur d'Alene Press Newspaper - Local and National News - Kootenai County, Idaho, there are usually always adds in there for RN's, for Spokane go to SpokesmanReview.com |
