Smile I need help

My family and I live in michigan, we hate it here, there isn't anything that we can say that we like about it. We have finally said that we are moving otu of here. We have looked every where. Something I guess keeps bringing us back to here. WE havea son about to be 8, he's very smart, so we have to worry about the schools where we go. We are looking into the air (my son has some health problems to worry about but nothing to big), we are looking into the jobs, we all need jobs. Looking into good areas to live (rent) that is family and mostly kid friendly. I have done alot of research on this area but keep getting confilcking interests. This is very important to us, weather we should move here or not. We are not picky people, can get along with anyone, can stand to do any kind of job. The only thing we really care about is the schools, and weather. Would love to be in a place without alot of snow (soooooo tired of that), but will stand some. Thank you for any of your help. Also can anyone tell me where to find your newspaper on line to check out jobs and housing?

You'd probably like living in the Boise-Metro area. We do get snow, but it's not so bad that you can't get around. Air quality has been an issue, but personally I don't think it's so bad it's not liveable; it's not like living in LA. Though it depends on your situation and you mentioned that your son has some health issues you should look into that further to see if it will be an issue. The worse seems to be when Idaho and surrounding states have had to deal with forest fires.

Boise-Metro is very family oriented and has good schools so no issues there. As far as jobs go, you will most likely have access to more opportunities in the Treasure Valley due to the larger population.

Definitely come and visit before you make the move, but I think you will like what the area has to offer.

When you say "looking here" which part of Idaho are you talking about?

From southeast to southcentral to western to the panhandle there is quite the variety of climates, schools and available jobs.

when I say here I mean so far I've heard around the boise area is the best place to go, so that's what I'm trying to find out. Is there a better area then boise to check into?
