Default Is Twin Falls safe?

I've been reading several reviews about Twin Falls, as we may be moving there soon, and I have noticed a lot of people mention the meth/gang problem. Is this actually a "problem"? Is Twin Falls considered a safe place to live?

Extremely safe.

Perhaps some property damage worries, but as far as violent crime, it's perfectly safe.

Yes, there are a lot of meth/drug related incidents, a lot of DUI-related accidents, and some occasional bizarre murders/shootings, but they're mostly isolated (with the obvious exception being the DUI stuff).

Crime shouldn't be a worry.

Here's a link to the Idaho's Annual Uniform Crime Report. Scroll down to page 220 for Twin Falls. Doesn't look like they've put out the 2007 report yet; this is for 2006.

Twin Falls is probably safer than most cities in the US, but like any other city you can find safe and unsafe places alike. It all depends on what area of the city you are in. Yes, it's sad, there is unnecessary violence all over the world. People get murdered even outside of LA.
