My new bride and I are leaving Orlando, Florida and we are considering Denver, Tempe and Boise. I am trying to look at all aspects of these cities, as diverse as they are, and I can't find sales tax information on Ada County or Boise.
I know that the Property tax in Idaho is 1.66%, and I know that the state sales tax is 6% (even on groceries) but can anyone tell me if Ada county and the city of Boise add any additional percentage to the state sales tax of 6%? Thank you!!! Last edited by Copout; 04-02-2008 at 03:13 AM. Reason: Grammer |

Someone from Boise can correctme if I'm wrong, but I think I can safely say the entire state is 6%.
