Default Anyone work with the US Forest Service?

hey guys i'm looking at doing a career change. I'm eyeing the US Forest Service for an "outdoor" job. I've never held a federal job, so I know how difficult it can be to get your foot in the door. Anyways, anyone here work with the USFS? I'd love to ask some questions.

Many Forestry jobs require degrees...depends on what you're looking for. Check on-line USFS employment or jobs and see what info you can glean from there. I used to dream of that sort of work, too...but ended up in law enforcement. Go figure

Thanks. I have a chance to volunteer at Yellowstone this summer, but I'm finding out that the USFS is more aligned with my goals and wants.
