You'll see in Heather's post that they have bought a house in CDA in a great neighborhood.
What I'm excited about is that we got to meet Heather and her husband for dinner this week. We went to the Beach House for a steak dinner, which is right on the city beach, with expansive views of Lake Pend Oreille. We introduced them to Huckleberry Lemonade, and they brought us some amazing French sparkling wine. We found them to be charming and engaging, and we actually wound up talking for hours after dinner as we walked around Sandpoint a bit (had to get Starbucks) and even just stood around our cars chatting on and on. I think it was so neat to have met someone from so far away, where our common interest was to relocate to this area and help others do the same. It was a very rewarding time, and I think I learned more about social life in Paris than I ever would by reading a blog or article. Her husband is one of the most down-to-earth guys you could want to meet...which for just underscored the truism that no matter where you go, good people are good people and make the world a better place, be it North Idaho or Paris, France. Heather, welcome to North Idaho...we look forward to having your entire family over for dinner when you get here this summer!

That is SO GREAT Sage!!! Ruby from City Data ,her hubby, and I and my hubby, got to meet a couple of years ago and she and hubby were able to relocate to Idaho too. They were not as far away as Paris France. We still had a great time. Even gave them a hand in moving in. Just got to visit with her yesterday and saw their new family addition. We NEED to get after her to show us the livestock of Idaho and her new little Chicken Hill Lil.
City Data is a very good place. Glad you had a good time and told us all about it. Chris |

When my time to relocate to No Idaho arrives (This time next year) I hope I can fit in as well. Pretty sure I can, but it's still great to read how easily your new friends have made the move. I am a firm believer that we get back what we give out and obviously Heather & her hubby have given their best!
